Raindirk and Helios products continue to get widespread publicity. Helioscentric are an impressive recording studio situated in a remote countryside setting in the South of England. As the name implies, a major feature of the equipment is a Helios Recording Console. A refurbished LN3 console (previously advertised on this website) has been purchased and installed in a studio in Amsterdam. It was expanded to 48 channels. The LN1 console that was previously in this studio has been refurbished and purchased by Raymond & Lolita who run a studio just outside Maastricht. | ||

MURLYN MUSIC produced the following on their Raindirk console: 98 Degrees: "Because of You". This song was Top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 for twelve weeks - top position No: 3. The single has sold 1,700,000 copies and the album ("98 Degrees and Rising"), over 1,500,000 copies in the USA. The CD release has topped 4 million sales. __________________________________________ ROMMARO STUDIO, one-hour south of Stockholm at Trosa, have received their extra 12 modules for the LN2 surround sound console. Raindirk Audio stripped out the console frame in order to relocate surround VU meters and move the central master modules to locate a conveniently placed Tascam control keyboard. Auxiliary and cue VU meters were replaced by track VUs 33-48. Opportunity was taken to add a sleep facility which switches off all channel incandescent lamps, VU illumination and the DK audioscope. A second control added, switches all channels 'on' ready for the next pass with the Audiomate moving fader system. Headphone amplifier outlets were added around the console and control room. A delightful studio, good accommodation, excellent food - recommended! | ||
